I am Erin Rain Gautier, and welcome to my freelance writing home!

I write about outdoor adventure, travel, craft coffee and most importantly, about Christian faith.

I currently live in the Northern Alps of Japan with my husband, Ty.

I chose the name “conspire” based not on its first dictionary definition, which implies something harmful or unlawful, but on the word’s more mysterious, playful use. The British Dictionary defines, “(intr) to act together towards some end as if by design.”

Paulo Coelho writes in The Alchemist, “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” Now, I do not actually believe that the universe bends because of our desires, but I absolutely believe in all things acting together, by a divine design, to in the end praise and glorify God.

I hope that my writing allows us to conspire together, with all of creation, for this purpose. It is, after all, our very design.

My portfolio contains links to my externally published pieces, and my creative tab contains poetry, trail journals, and other prose style works.

Happy wandering!
